How long does it take to cut a rail?

Under typical conditions, the RailSaw Max can complete a clean rail cut in approximately 3 minutes. If you are doing cut and break operations the cut will take about 30 seconds

Is the RailSaw Max spark-free?

The saw operates at low RPM and produces little to no sparks, making it suitable for environments with fire risk.

Can it be used in all weather conditions?

Yes, the RailSaw Max is built for rugged use and can operate in rain, snow, and mud without performance issues.

What maintenance is required?

The saw is like any other grapple and requires greasing occasionally. The saw needs a minimum 10 GPM.

What else does it cut?

It will cut ties and suitable size pipe. two rails at once if you grab them right

Can it cut rail in track?

Yes, it can cut rail in track without the need to shovel out the ballast.

What about a hot cut?

No, it won't be able to do a cut in hot rail in track. It will pinch just like a regular saw.
